Group one’s presentation had a fun and electric feel to the slides and they used big pictures to not only showcase what they were talking about but to also keep the audience (us) engaged
Side note: Brianna and Carolina did good in presenting and closing out the groups, I feel that as they went doing each group they became more comfortable in the role.
Brianna started off by introducing the group and gave us a bit of a preview through her eyes of what we were going to learn. Christopher then started the group off with chapter one and spoke slowly so as to not rush what he was saying, allowing us to follow along. Christina then took over and showed that she really knew her content by giving examples and made us feel that she was having a one on one conversation with us. Donavan then followed along and maintained Christina’s speed. I did feel he was a bit nervous but overall pushed through. Daniel then jumped in and presented straight to the point and clearly. Aiden’s part of the presentation felt like Christina’s in the sense that he provided examples and it felt like he was having a conversation with us. Aidileny kept it simple and to the point making it easy to understand her information and closed out her group's informational part. Carolina then closed out group one and summarized the groups main points that she gathered and gave some encouraging comments about the group's performance.
Overall group one kept a good clear background and image and they all came ready to show what they learned and even though they all had a different way of presenting they kept me engaged with their topics.
With the second group I felt that I was looking at an animation. I loved their characters throughout the presentation. I heard Carolina say that they recorded their parts and sent it to their group to practice and I thought that was a really smart and cooperative way to engage in this project.
The group began with Carolina giving an overview of the group's information and their work ethic behind the scenes. Then gayelle began the informational portion of the slides, keeping a steady talking pace through her presentation while being clear and direct. Jephte then took over and was enunciated in his way of presenting while sticking to the main points of his chapter. After, Kaylie began the first half of her chapter and walked us through a scenario of what she was talking about which I thought was a good way to help her audience understand the point. Nothing is better understood than a real life example. Kayling continued the chapter with focus and overall felt well prepared on her information. Juseth then closed out her group keeping it well paced and allowed for pauses before jumping on to the next point. Brianna then closed out the group highlighting their positive presentational aspect and then summarized the points she learned from the presentation.
The group overall really leaned into having as much information as possible for their group and made it not feel overwhelming and also practiced and got feedback from their teammates beforehand which it felt was a very smart move.
Group 3’s presentation had a starry simple purple and green theme, while keeping their format simple they were the only group to include videos in their presentation which I feel took their presentation to another level.
Carolina started off the group with their introduction and then dove into the main points the group was going to be covering. By this point she seemed used to her role and showed in the confidence she presented with. Melissa started off with speed and clarity wasting no time in giving us the information we needed and included a video that helped visualize her point. Mykell took over covering his slides with Melissa's speed and also included a video for his points. Melinda then slowed this down a bit and kept it clear. I do want to acknowledge that in this group I saw that their slides were very much to the point and simple overviews in the best way! Lys' approach to her presentation was very calm and allowed for time to digest the information. Nel I noticed really covered his chapter, he had a lot of information into his slides and kept a good pace throughout. Ricardo presented his slides with confidence and closed out the group's presentation. Brianna then summarized the group's main points and gave her feedback.
Group 3 had a very good energy throughout the presentation and included their own visual aspects to enhance their presentation.
Not that I am biased or anything…. But group 4 had the best presentation! Just kidding we all did great! What I can point out is that my group's presentation theme to me felt like a ted talk. I know my group pulled together and we communicated well throughout the process. Whatever we had questions on we asked and made sure to find an answer.
Carolina began by introducing our group and the topics we were going to talk about. Then Sury started us off with her presentation with good articulation and high energy. She then was taken over by Roger who presented his slides with depth and kept a steady pace throughout.
Trinity then jumped in and gave us examples on her topic and made sure she was clear and to the point. I then took over and did my part. Looking back I feel that I could have spoken a bit more fluently in how I presented but you live and you learn so next time I will practice more. After Savannah did the second half of our chapter and kept her approach simple and instructive. And to close out our group we had Valeria who went slow and concise, ending all the presentations on a calm note. Brianna then summarized our group like usual and gave us some good feedback regarding our teamwork!
Overall I feel that my team did a great job and I am excited to see what we come up with next!
